3 Best Alcohol-Free NYE Cocktails

New-Year’s Eve is typically known as one of the booziest nights of the year. But what if you’re choosing to go booze free? Whatever your reason for skipping the champagne, I want to make to make sure you have delicious and celebratory options so you can ring in the new year with taste and style! I’ve even included recommendations for booze-pairings, should you choose to share your beverages with a special someone who is imbibing 😉
I recommend making the syrups the day before for the Rosemary-Tangerine Spritzer and Ginger-Lime Fizz, so you can just sit back, relax, and enjoy your evening the day of the party!
ROSEMARY TANGERINE SPRITZER
Ingredients
1 cup fresh squeezed tangerine juice
Juice of 1 lemon
2 large sprigs rosemary
3/4 cup honey
Soda water

Combine the juice, honey, and rosemary in a medium saucepan – bring the mixture to a boil, then turn off heat and allow the syrup to sit 10 minutes.

Remove the syrup from heat and allow to cool completely

Add 4 tbsp syrup to a glass with ice, then top with 4-6 oz soda water. Enjoy!
Booze it up: with Gin
GINGER-LIME FIZZ
Ingredients
1/2 lb fresh ginger, peeled and roughly chopped
1 cup honey
2 cups water
1/2 cup lime juice
Soda water
ice
Instructions

Combine the ginger, water, and honey in a large pot.

Bring the mixture to a boil, then cover and reduce to a simmer for 30 minutes.

Remove the syrup from the heat and allow it to cool completely.

When the syrup is cool mix in the lime juice – store in a sealed container in the fridge

Add 4 tbsp syrup to a glass with ice, then add 4-6 oz soda water to fill. Enjoy!
Booze it up: with Vodka
CRANBERRY-APPLE SPARKLER
Ingredients
4 oz sparkling apple juice, chilled
1 oz cranberry juice, chilled
Sugared rim glass (turbinado sugar + natural red food dye powder, optional)
Instructions
- Combine 1 tbsp turbinado sugar with ¼ tsp red natural food dye powder on a small plate. Set aside.
- Get a paper towel wet, then fold it into quarters and place it on a plate. Press the rim of the glass into the wet paper towel, then into the plate of sugar, and set aside.
- Combine sparkling apple with cranberry juice and pour into the prepared glass. Serve chilled.
Booze it up: with Bourbon
