Apple Cider-Ginger Immune Tonic with Lemon

With another cold a flu season upon us, it’s important to stay on top of boosting your immune system. In addition to getting sleep and avoiding processed sugar, you can give your body an extra advantage by trying this tangy immune-boosting tonic!

Apple Cider-Ginger Immune Tonic with Lemon
- Yield: 2 cups 1x
Ingredients
Scale
2 cups water
2 cloves garlic, lightly smashed (just enough to break them open a little bit)
2 tbsp apple cider vinegar
2 tbsp lemon juice
2-inch slice of ginger, chopped
1/8 tsp cayenne pepper
Stevia, to taste
Instructions
- Bring the water to a boil in a small saucepan.

When the water comes to a boil, turn off the heat and add all the ingredients except the stevia. Cover and steep for 5 minutes.

Finally, strain the steeped tonic into two cups and sweeten with stevia to taste.

Enjoy warm, and feel better!
