Easy Orange Sorbet

Get ready to indulge in a refreshing and healthy treat that perfectly captures the vibrant essence of summer!
This Easy Orange Sorbet recipe is so simple to make, and with just a handful of ingredients that you might already have in the kitchen, you’ll be able to enjoy this healthy treat all through the summer months.
The star of this recipe is fresh squeezed orange juice. The freshness of the oranges and the juice determines how fresh the sorbet tastes – juice your own ripe oranges if possible! If not, buy the freshest juice you can for best results. This gives the sorbet its bright citrus flavor, and also adds a healthy dose of vitamin C, which boosts immunity and promotes glowing skin.
We also add a touch of lemon juice, which adds a little kick and provides an extra dose of vitamin C and antioxidants. Raw honey adds just enough sweetness and provides a healthier alternative to the refined sugar you’ll find in more store-bought sorbet.

Easy Orange Sorbet
To whip up this sorbet, simply combine the fresh squeezed orange juice, water, lemon juice, and raw honey in a medium bowl. Whisk until the honey is dissolved and the mixture is well combined.
If you have an ice cream maker, pour the mixture into the bowl and follow the manufacturer’s instructions. The result will be a ready-to-eat “soft serve” sorbet.
If you don’t have an ice cream maker – don’t worry! Instead, pour the mixture into a shallow container and place it in the freezer. Every 30 minutes, remove the container and vigorously stir the sorbet with a fork to break up any ice crystals. Repeat this process for about 2-3 hours until you achieve a smooth texture. Then, let it freeze for 4 hours or overnight for a firmer consistency.
Once your orange sorbet is ready, scoop it into bowls or cones, and dive into the refreshing, citrusy goodness.
Make it all summer long to cool while enjoying the numerous health benefits of the healthy, natural ingredients.
