Making your own pumpkin pie spice is THE best idea, for several reasons:

  1. It’s super easy and fast to throw together
  2. You get to pick the quality of the spices you use
  3. Customize it to tickle YOUR tastebuds – like more nutmeg? No problem! Want less allspice? You got it 😉
  4. Omg soooo many health benefits! Ginger is anti-inflammatory, cinnamon balances blood sugar, and clove is a proven anti-microbial. This ties into reason #2 – when you pick high-quality organic spices you get even more of these amazing perks 😉
